New Gokul Farm
New Gokul Farm is a wonderful and unique project that aims to promote peace through providing sanctuary to cows, bulls and oxen. These beautiful animals are extremely dear to Lord Kṛṣṇa, and it was Śrīla Prabhupāda’s vision that sustainable farms centred around cow care and protection were developed.

Our Herd
At New Gokul Farm our herd consists of 35 cows + 26 oxen + 2 bulls = 63 members & counting!

Our Family
Passionate, loving, giving, caring; only a few words that can describe the souls that come and work in the Goshala.

Our Mission
To provide sanctuary for every member of the herd and to educate society about the importance of cow protection.
Quote
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is worshiped with the prayer namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca. Thus it is clear that the Supreme Personality of Godhead respects and protects the brāhmaṇas and brahminical culture, as well as the cows; in other words, wherever there are brāhmaṇas and brahminical culture, there are cows and cow protection.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 4.21.44, Purport.Quote
If human society wants to be exalted, the leaders of society must follow the instructions of Bhagavad-gītā and give protection to the cows, the brāhmaṇas and brahminical culture.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 8.24.5, Purport.Quote
Human society should not consider itself the only enjoyer of all the properties of God; rather, men should understand that all the other animals also have a claim to God’s property.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 7.14.9, Purport.Quote
Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma taught us by Their personal behaviour. Kṛṣṇa took care of the cows and played His flute, and Balarāma took care of agricultural activities with a plow in His hand.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 10.11.37, Purport.Quote
Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme personality of Godhead, is the prime protector of brahminical culture and the cow.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 4.21.38, Purport.Quote
Men and animals were equally protected as far as life was concerned. That is the way in God’s kingdom.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 1.17.8, Purport.Quote
Cows are worshiped not only by the demigods. Kṛṣṇa Himself worshiped the cows on several occasions, especially on the days of Gopāṣṭamī and Govardhana-pūjā.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
The Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 21.Quote
When Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared, He purposefully became a cowherd boy and showed personally how to give protection to the cows and calves.
Śrīla Prabhupāda
ŚB 8.24.5, Purport.Quote
Srila Prabhupada famously remarked: “The Manor is wonderful and when the sun shines there is no place better.” Let us pray that the sun will always shine here at Bhaktivedanta Manor, so that even when the weather is overcast, damp or snowy, the shining beacon of pure devotion will brilliantly illuminate the Home of Lord Krishna.

Protection of Cows is the single-most important principle towards saving the whole world from both moral and spiritual degradation. Simply by protection of Cows all the wonderful benefits of religiosity and piety will be automatically achieved without any separate endeavour.
