“Thus we find that in Bhagavad-gītā Lord Kṛṣṇa advises go-rakṣya, the protection of cows.” – Śrīla Prabhupāda
New Gokul Farm's primary concern is to present alternatives to agricultural and dietary practices that support and depend upon the meat and dairy industries' slaughter of innocent animals, specifically the cow. To this end, New Gokul Farm presents the philosophy and implementation of compassionate cow protection. A change to a vegetarian/ vegan diet and training oxen to enable their useful abilities are crucial to establishing cow protection. The principles behind cow protection are universal, non-sectarian and available to all regardless of race, creed, or nationality.
